Arthur Minor Hockey Association (AMHA) 2024/2025 Registration Guidelines
New and returning families, please read entire document for updated information for the upcoming hockey season. Some information and processes have changed.
New Players are those who have NEVER played organized hockey under the Hockey Canada umbrella. These players are required to complete Respect in Sport (🡨 Click Link) and read the applicable booklet regarding Rowan's Law (🡨 Click Link) and complete the form indicating the booklet has been read. If you have previously completed these requirements for other players, you DO NOT need to redo Respect in Sports or Rowan’s Law but you will need to add the new player to your account, Click Here to Learn How. Completion of Respect in Sports & Rowan’s Law are mandatory and required before players can step onto the ice.
All new registrations must provide proof of birthdate (birth certificate) and proof of address (parent’s driver’s license) as required by Hockey Canada. Please upload these documents ASAP on your Spordle account. Your child will not be able to start hockey without your Spordle account in good standing.
Returning Players: You must ensure that your player(s) are linked to your Spordle account before you register. When you log into your account, click on “Members” and then click on “+” to link a member. Add your participant and then go back to the Dashboard which has the “Register Now” button.
Transferring to Arthur from another center? To register with Arthur Minor Hockey Association, you need provide access to your Hockey Canada Player Profile. Please complete the appropriate Player Transfer Form by contacting Registrar Arthur Minor Hockey ([email protected]) as soon as possible.

**NEW** Prepaid Fundraising
New this year there will be a prepaid fundraising fee of $100 per player applied at registration. It will be capped at $200 per family (ex. 1 player family is $100, 2 player family is $200, 3+ player family is $200). You will have the opportunity to receive the fundraising fee back by selling tickets for our Annual Cash Calendar fundraiser and keeping the ticket money sold up to the total amount prepaid.
Please note; The registration system is not able to remove the prepaid fundraising fee from the 3rd+ player in a family, so a manual refund will be issued.
There may be additional fundraising for the Association (ex. For Arthur Hockey Day raffle baskets) and/or individual teams to cover tournaments costs (tournaments are agreed upon and at the expense of each team). Additionally, all team members, including bench staff and parents, will be required to volunteer during home tournaments in Arthur in order for the team to receive 50% off the tournament registration fee. Home tournaments are one of our biggest fundraising events but require everyone’s participation.
AMHA Income and Expenses
For transparency, we have provided a summary of the association’s 2023/2024 annual expenses and income statements. What is not captured is the thousands of hours put in by the coaches, trainers, managers, players, parents, and members of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is committed to keeping registration costs as low as possible while maintaining financial stability so we can continue to offer local hockey in Arthur.
