AMHA Coaching Qualifications & Requirements and Trainer Requirements
Below is a list of all of the requirements for coaches and trainers of minor hockey in Ontario.
Please have a look at the list and determine if you have the correct certifications for the level that you wish to coach. All Rep coaches for PeeWee and above must have at least Development 1 - Trained certification. For Atom and above coaches coaching in Local League (LL), they will need Coach 2 - Coach Level Trained. All Initiation, Minor Novice and Novice coaches need Coach 1 - Intro to Coach Trained course. All trainers need HTCP Level 1.

There are no courses being offered near Arthur.
Respect In Sport and Gender Identity courses are also listed and they are all online courses.
Coaches

Hockey University - HU Online Coach 1/Coach 2
This online course is required for those looking to take either Coach 1 or Coach 2. This online course must be successfully completed prior to signing up for one of the above mentioned courses.

Coach 2 - Coach Level

Coach - Development 1

Trainers
Please follow the link for each trainer course. All trainers, regardless of what level of hockey you are involved with only need the minimum qualification of HTCP Level 1.
All HTCP Level 1 courses last for 3 years. You will need to be current prior to the start of the season or you will not be allowed on the bench. If you need to update your certification you will need to take HTCP 1 Refresher course. Once you go to the trainer website you will need to log in or create a new account. After you are logged in you can select the course that you need and order it. Once it is paid for you will be able to begin. This is an online course. It is recommended that you read the Frequently Asked Questions if you need any clarification.

All Bench Staff

Gender Identify & Expression Course
Follow the link below and click on Gender Identify & Expression Course. From that page you will need to either create a new eHockey account or sign in to an existing one. Once logged in, near the top of the page, click on the link to Signup for a Clinic. Select yourself as a participant and on the next page scroll down until you see Gender Identify & Expression Course and click SignUp.
