We are in need of people to volunteer for several board positions.  In order for the season to run smoothly for every player and team, volunteers are needed.

Remaining board members and past board members are willing to assist anyone in becoming familiar with a position.  Please become involved with the Association at the board level and help make a difference.

The 2018-19 Hockey Season for Arthur Minor Hockey will have a couple of changes.

Last season, the OMHA implemented a new program for kids 6 years old and younger.
The program moved the focus to skills and development using a half ice structure.

For 2018-19 season this same program is in effect for TYKE age kids 7 years old and younger.
There is a guide attached from OMHA that AMHA encourages families to read over.

In 2018-19 season AMHA will be joining the WOAA for both our Rep and Local League teams.
Due to circumstances beyond the AMHA control, we felt our best and only option was to move forward with WOAA.

What will this mean to you the families of Arthur? For our Rep teams everything will remain the same.
For our Local League teams we join WOAA local league where we will play in a group determined by the WOAA.  The groups are determined by the WOAA in late summer.

Along with teams joining the WOAA, there are some rules that will take place for AMHA to follow. AMHA will still abide to OMHA guidelines. There is however some new rules for player movements to be aware of. All players have to register and play in their home center when a team is offered (unless attending “A” or higher tryouts).
